Come and enjoy learning to sail on the tidal River Medway.  We have a fleet of toppers for you to learn the basics before venturing into our double handlers.

Family ticket covers 2 adults and 2 children.

Sailors must be able to launch and recover and be able to
right their boat from a capsize by themselves. An Instructor will be on hand to help with your session.

All children in the family group MUST participate in the sailing.  We cannot permit children under the age of 16 to be left on shore or in the Centre without an adult from their own group to supervise them.  Our insurance and safe guarding regulations do not permit this.

You will get 2 hours on the water but in order to enjoy the full sailing experience please arrive 30 minutes before the published session start time so that you can learn to rig your own boat. You will also need to de-rig and put the boat away so allow another 30 minutes at the end.

IMPORTANT: Please wear old clothes and suitable footwear i.e. trainers or water
shoes. Flip flops and crocs are not suitable and you will not be allowed to
participate. Also bring a towel and dry clothes to change into.
