SUMMARY:Adult Sailing
DESCRIPTION:Come and enjoy learning to sail on the tidal River Medway.  We have a fleet of toppers for you to learn the basics before venturing into our double handlers. \nFor age groups 16+ and sailors must be able to launch and recover and be able to\nright their boat from a capsize by themselves. An Instructor will be on hand to help\nwith your session. To enhance the learning experience there will also be some land based activities during the season\, particularly if the weather is poor. \nYou will get 2 hours on the water but in order to enjoy the full sailing experience please arrive 30 minutes before the published session start time so that you can learn to rig your own boat. You will also need to de-rig and put the boat away so allow another 30 minutes at the end. \nIMPORTANT: Please wear old clothes and suitable footwear i.e. trainers or water\nshoes. Flip flops and crocs are not suitable and you will not be allowed to\nparticipate. Also bring a towel and dry clothes to change into.
